Recommended Resources To Make Goal Setting for 2015 Fun, Profitable, and Soulful

goal-planning

I love this time of year. For me, it’s all about introspection… taking a look at what was amazing about the last year, and what you want to do differently in 2015.

Over the week-end, I took some time to tune into what’s really important. What matters, and how I can rise to the occasion in the next 12 months… and be even more daring in my own ways.

One thing that I’m really grateful for is the amazing mentors and friends I’ve been fortunate to work with and learn from over the years.

I thought I’d share with you what I’m most excited about right now, and how you can tap into these “make the most of 2015” resources as you map out your next moves.

Goals are truly powerful, and I hope these different approaches and tools can help you craft goals that light you up inside and get you dancing into the world.

Here goes…

1. Create Your Shining Year Workbook by Leonie Dawson

Create Your Shining Year Workbook

This magical workbook has been on my “must have” list every year since I started my business.

I have to admit that the first year I got the digital version, I didn’t print it out or play with it as much as I could have… but the year after, I made sure to fill everything in.

The result? I had a way more productive, fulfilling, and joyful year.

And now that Leonie has a personal workbook and a business workbook (plus a physical printed version!) you can play whichever way lights your heart up.

Here’s a sneak peek at just some of the beautiful worksheets and exercises you can expect…

Shining Worksheets

Leonie Dawson is a mentor to women wanting to create + grow massively successful and heart-centered creative + soulful businesses. She is also an author, retreat leader, visual artist, mama, and friend.

All of her yearly workbooks have been bestsellers, and I personally can’t wait for mine to arrive in the mail!

Leonie has created a company that has generated millions and helps thousands of women every single year. Her mission is to help as many earth angels – women with creative or spiritual gifts – to have profoundly profitable businesses so they may nourish themselves and heal the world.

I highly recommend grabbing one of her workbooks to get your 2015 off to an amazing start!

2. 5 Days To Your Best Year Ever by Michael Hyatt

Michael hyatt

I’ve been watching Michael Hyatt’s work from afar for a number of years now, and last year he put together a blockbuster program called “5 Days To Your Best Year Ever”.

Michael is a New York Times bestselling author, a prolific blogger, and business-man. He’s put together a free series of exercises, videos, and intention-setting goodies to help you kick off strong in 2015 without fizzling out.

Best year ever

In the first video, Michael talks about why most goals we set don’t come to pass. It’s not because our intentions are flawed, but because the way most of us go about setting goals does not serve us in the long run.

How about a fresh perspective on goal setting? One that will help you move on from past failure. One that will help you look ahead with clarity and
confidence.

Michael shares the four strategies you need to create a solid foundation for success with your goals. Without these, you’ll find it virtually impossible to get what you want this year.

If you’ve ever felt like there was something standing between you and the things you want most in life, don’t miss this series (it’s free!).

3. Lucky Bitch Christmas by Denise Duffield-Thomas

Denise christmas

My friend Denise Duffield-Thomas is the self-styled Lucky Bee, and she’s the go-to person if you’re looking to eliminate money blocks and limiting beliefs around wealth.

So if you’ve got money related goals for 2015 (and who doesn’t!) then you’ll want to check out her free audio all about eliminating money blocks here.

You’ll also want to keep an eye out because she’ll be releasing some of her best mindset shifting training in a super cute Christmas package. (And yes, that’s her baby girl, and no she’s not part of the package!)

I’ve had a business-girl-crush on Denise ever since I took her Lucky Bitch Money bootcamp back in 2012, and I plan on having her share more of her money wisdom with you in 2015!

4. The Desire Map Planner & Licensing Program by Danielle LaPorte

Danielle laporte

Danielle LaPorte needs no introduction, but just in case… she’s the creator of The Desire Map: A Guide To Creating Goals With Soul.

She’s a speaker, poet, former think tank exec and business strategist, and her site was named one of the “Top 100 Websites for Women” by Forbes.

Her innovative approach to setting goals has changed the way people operate in the world… and I’ve shared my core desired feelings here before.

This year Danielle is making it even easier to plan your year with her Desire Map planner for 2015.

But Team D is also kicking things up a notch with the advent of Desire Map Licensing. If you’ve tapped into your own wisdom in new ways thanks to Danielle’s teachings, you can share the love and start incorporating the work into your own business, too.

For some people, Desire Map Licensing is becoming their primary way of making a living. For others, it adds a strong second revenue stream that helps them put their kids through school or take a dream vacation every year.

Making money while doing work that is based on empowerment and making a positive difference in people’s lives is what Danielle’s program is all about. Check out the details of the licensing program while it’s in early bird registration.

No matter what your goals are…

I’ve been a planner and goal setter for years… and some years they come to pass exactly like I imagined. Other times they morph into exactly what I needed, instead.

So as you take stock of the year gone by, I’d love for you to leave a comment below and let me know:

1. What’s your favorite goal setting ritual?

2. What are you most proud of from 2014 (so far)?

Thanks so much for reading, here’s to your beautiful goals!

  1. Thank you for the resources! While I do have specific goals related to my business, I have found it SO much easier to focus on one word for the year instead of resolutions. Reading all of these goal posts reminded me to look at my word for this year, and when I pulled it up, it made me cry… what a difference a year makes!

    • I also love coming up with a simple theme word for the year. I’m so happy that worked for you, and it sounds like it’s been a profound transformational year for you! Big hugs!

  2. Thanks for sharing Nathalie! I just ordered my life + biz ebook and I can’t wait! 2015 is the year for me I can feel it, I am so close to having the life I want for my family and myself. Feeling blessed to have you in my life.

    xoxo
    Nathalie

  3. Just ordered Leonie’s magical workbook! Looking forward to receiving it, implementing the practices, and creating some beautiful new work! Thanks so much for your recommendations :)

  4. My goal setting ritual
    – usually, in December, I find time for family and friends and myself
    – I look back in my appointment book and that inspires me for the next goals for the next year

What I am most proud of from 2014
    – my 4 French immersion retreats in Paris (2) and NYC (2)
    – I had scheduled them in 2015, but they just came to me, and that makes me be over the moon happy

    Thanks for this, Nathalie! :)

  5. Dear Natalie,

Thanks for your warm and inspiring emails.

    1. favorite goal setting ritual:

For me nothing beats lists! They are my number one tool. I like to make lists for very simple things (i.e. emails that I need to write), but I also make sure to write down bigger thoughts on what I want to be doing over the course of the next year. I find that writing down goals, and ideas for how to reach them is an incredibly powerful and effective way to try to reach them. I don’t get to do ll the things I dream about doing, or sometimes things take much more time than I’d hoped for, but regardless, I think its harder for me to get things that I’m not aware of wanting! I therefore think its ok to dream big!

    2. What I’m most proud of from 2014 (so far):

After thinking about it for a while, this year I really went for it: I’m learning how to code! Its taking forever, but its fun and super rewarding! I feel like I’m setting myself up for good things. I moved across the world in pursuit of a job, and that worked out really well. Also I got engaged and is about to marry the man of my dreams! That makes 2014 a good year!

    • Beautiful Nynne! I’m a big list lover too, and you’re totally right that half the battle is figuring out what we really want… and not just what we’re supposed to want, or what we “should” be doing. :)

And WOOHOO on learning to code! Major high fives from a fellow coder! :)

  6. Hi Nathalie,

My usual ritual in December is review my calendar looking at where I’ve spent my time and what I’ve done. I spend time writing it out and the feelings I have about it. Then I spend more time writing what it is I’m looking for in the coming year. This is a very introspective time for me. I think the thing I’m most of proud of in 2014 is my husband and I finished a big project and are moving into an important transition period in our life. I’m proud that were hanging in there, be conscious, through the challenges.

I bought Leonie’s workbook. I love workbooks and I love them printed so I’m excited for it to arrive so I can start possibly a new ritual.

    Thanks,
    Lori

  7. Thank you, Nathalie, for putting these resources together!!! These are really, really good ones. I’ve never heard of Michael because I typically inundate my inbox with female entrepreneurs and coaches, but his content is really refreshing. Thank you for sharing <3

  8. Well in 2014 I landed the job I wanted, reaching a goal I had set about 3 years prior. So, now I need some new goals! :)

    I ditto Leonie Dawson’s workbook.

Also, Isabel Parlett’s online Planning Day was even better this year than last year – and the videos are free on Livestream replay until Friday, December 12, if you want to check them out (I took loads of notes!) http://new.livestream.com/accounts/567639/events/3598204

  9. Thanks Nathalie! I actually got Denise Duffield-Thomas’s Christmas bundle which had the live event, audiobooks and more – LOVE IT!!
I’ll have to check the other ones out!

  10. March is going to be such a great month, you’ve got so many exciting things going on! You constantly inspire me to be intentional about the goals that I set and connect them all to a deeper “why”. Thank you!
