In this episode of the Off The Charts podcast I get to talk to my friend and fellow University of Waterloo alumni, Natalie MacNeil. Natalie is an incredible entrepreneur who has been in business for many years, in different industries (from her days creating Emmy-award winning documentaries) and now publishing amazing books for women entrepreneurs.
I got to ask Natalie some of my favorite questions, to really dig deep into what’s made her successful over the years.
You’ll love what Natalie has to say about finding your way into true company leadership, and and it sometimes takes letting go of to accomplish.
My favorite take away from Natalie’s advice for taking your business off the charts is to really look at where you’re creating a bottleneck in your business… And allowing yourself to hire or systematize that part of your business, so it can grow.
This is definitely a theme for many of the people we interview for the podcast, but Natalie gives concrete examples of ways she’s done that in her business over the years… Even when she was first starting out, so there’s definitely a clear takeaway for you no matter where you’re at in your business right now.
I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did! Natalie and I are both Canadian gals who like to get techy, and we both went to the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Canada… although we didn’t know each other while we were students there. Our paths have crossed many times since then, and it’s fun to be living in this “small world” of entrepreneurship and business.
Make sure to check out her brand new book, The Conquer Kit, it’s the must-have business planning tool for women entrepreneurs!
