Keep In Touch With Clients & Business Friends with Contactually

Keep in touch with clients

You know it’s important to keep in touch with clients and business friends, but it’s hard to remember when you’re a busy entrepreneur.

Luckily, you’re not the only person who has a hard time juggling your existing contacts with meeting new people, and making sure everyone is taken care of.

There are tons of customer relationship management systems out there, and I’ve tried a few of them.

The problem with most systems designed to help you keep in touch with clients and peers is that they require you to login and update their system when you do get in touch with someone.

Today I’m going to be sharing a really cool tool that I’ve been using for awhile now to ensure that I keep in touch with important contacts. And it integrates with my email inbox, so I never need to login to their system, unless I choose to.

The Power of Follow-Up

You may have heard that following up with prospects is a really important part of sales and marketing. But did you know that most sales are made during the follow-up process?

My friend and sales expert Kendrick Shoppe taught me that, by sharing a few examples of how following up with interested folks led to closing more sales.

The problem for most of us busy entrepreneurs is that we move onto the next thing, the next potential client, and the most immediate todo list item.

Using a tool like Contactually, we can track who are our potential clients, and let the tool remind us to follow-up on a regular basis.

You can even set how often you want each group to be followed up with, so you’re not treating your business buddies the same as prospects. And you’re not forgetting to email your mom often, either.

Why You Need to Keep In Touch With Clients and Business Buddies

Following up with prospective clients makes total sense, but what about the need to keep in touch with clients and business buddies? Don’t they already know and love you?

Yes, and they’re also busy. So it makes sense for you to carve out a little time in your schedule to see what they’re up to, and how you can help them.

Your clients might be ready for another round of your services, or they might be going through exciting personal life changes – it helps for you to know what’s going on in their lives, so you can celebrate with them.

As for business friends, you want to keep in touch to see if there are ways you can support each other, or just share cool stuff. We do more business with people we consider friends, so don’t let your friendship cool off because you got too busy to reach out!

Here’s to Keeping In Touch!

Take Contactually for a spin, and see how it can change your business practices. If it helps you keep in touch with clients and business friends, it’s worth a shot!

Make sure to grab your free website checkup, it’s fun, fast, and totally worthwhile.

Glad to see another one of these sites since Gist (a similar site) went away, I'll give it a spin.

I couldn't agree more with the power of follow up, it's very customer friendly, within Gmail, Boomerang is an awesome tool for built into the sending/replying process.

Love this! Following-up with people has been so ingrained in me from a job perspective but it's not translated over into my own business so having a tool like this is going to be a very good thing for me :).
